Welcome to Culture Night at Kunsthall Trondheim with exciting activities and experiences for everyone!

4pm Guided tour with Laboratory for Aesthetics and Ecology
The newly opened exhibition A New We at Kunsthall Trondheim is co-curated with Laboratory for Aesthetics and Ecology (Dea Antonsen and Ida Bencke, Denmark).

7pm Film screening
We will be screening Fabrizio Terranova’s documentary Donna Haraway: Story Telling for Earthly Survival (2o16), about Donna Haraway, which is indeed one of the most influential thinkers today, renegotiating the notion and place of the human. Story Telling for Earthly Survival is a playful encounter with Haraway and her dog Cayenne in their Southern California home, as well as an introduction to Haraway’s thinking. The film is screened in collaboration with The Environmental Humanities initiative, led by Hanna Musiol with support from Faculty of Humanities, NTNU.

10pm The Cultural Quarter’s birthday party – Entrance from SELLANRAA
It’s getting close to a year ago since Kunsthall Trondheim, Trondheim Public Library and the House of Literature opened as the city’s new Cultural Quarter. Join the celebration of The Cultural Quarter’s one year birthday party with bar by SELLANRAA and the best DJs in town:  Trøbbel på Taket [Trouble at the Roof] (with Ulrik Antoniussen Halmøy & Aleksander Stella)!
