Welcome to the opening of this is a political (painting) – Kunsthall Trondheim’s inaugural exhibition in a new, permanent location. Alexandra Pirici’s work Monument to Work will be enacted during the opening. The opening starts at 7pm, and Director Helena Holmberg will hold the opening speech. The party begins at 8pm. Free entrance.

Short about Captain Credible:
British-born Daniel Lacey-McDermott, who has roots in Trondheim, describes Captain Credible as the crazy, musical scientist that lives inside his head. The Captain is located in a “not-so-easily-defined-genre”, and he fills the stage with home made electronics. When it comes to who influences him names as Aphex Twin, Sex Pistols and Aaron Carter are mentioned. The Captain himself describes his sound as “filthy drunk beats bathing in a lake of melting synthesizers and Old Nintendo cartridges.”
