Welcome to the launch of Her og der Survival Guide book at Kunsthall Trondheim! Her og der has the pleasure to invite you to the launching of this survival guide which gives a wide range of information on how to access the art field in Norway.

Hasan Daraghmeh, Mishi Foltyn and Carlos A. Correia, will join us in a conversation reflecting on their different experiences of re-establishing themselves as artists in Trondheim. This conversation will be facilitated by Kunsthall Trondheim and Her og der. During the launch, Kunsthall Trondheim will give an introduction and Her og Der will introduce the Survival Guide and their work. After the talk, we invite you to stay and mingle with some drinks and snacks.

The event will be in English.

Admission is free. Kunsthall Trondheim has a stair-free entrance from street level, is wheelchair accessible and has a lift.
Public disability parking is available right outside our entrance. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our host at the reception.

About the artists:

Hasan Daraghmeh is a visual artist working primarily with film, video, multimedia installations and photography, in most of his works and research; the camera is the starting point. His works explores the interlacing relationship between the individual and place. Often focusing on memory, time and space in relation to the digital era that we live in. Daraghmeh was raised in Palestine and lives in Norway.

Mishi Foltyn is an artist, curator, and writer from Canada working with large format drawing, site-specific installation and performance.

Carlos A. Correia is a visual artist with a MFA from Trondheim Academy of Fine Art. Carlos together with Joana Bruno runs SMØR Press, a small publishing house specialised in risograph printing. He is also the co-founder and project leader of Slå På Kunst along with Inga Skålnes.
