Kunsthall Trondheim invites to the opening of this summer's grand art exhibition Avstand by Sverre Bjertnæs, Saturday 8 May at 1 pm!

... and what a program! Well-known artists such as Morten Abel, Magnus Børmark and Ellen Andrea Wang will perform during the opening. We will announce several other artistic features on an ongoing basis!

The opening will take place outdoors at Tordenskioldsplass by Our Lady's Church. Infection control will be maintained at all times. The exhibition at Kunsthall Trondheim is simultaneously also open to visitors.

Avstand is Bjertnæs' largest solo exhibition in Trondheim in almost two decades and presents new works that revolve around distance, which we have all gained a new relationship with this past year.

The exhibition is accompanied by a catalog of texts, in Norwegian, by Sumaya Jirde Ali, Thomas Dybdahl, Sissel Gran, Finn Skårderud and Carl Frode Tiller (published by Forlaget Uten Tittel in June).

Curated by Carl Martin Faurby.
