Kunsthall Trondheim and FREEK-I-NATT jointly present: FREEK-I-NATT #7!
FREEK-I-NATT is a club concept that was born when our namesake Freek, a Dutchman living in exile in Trøndelag, told an eager and local DJ crew how clubbing should be done, the “echt” Amsterdam way.
During a few, but packed nights, Trondheim got a taste of the magic that happens when you fill a venue with a lot of lights, a lot of people, and the deepest, most delightful house and techno tunes. Following sold-out events at DIGS, Rockheim and Sukkerhuset, we are now turning the Kunsthall into a club. Come along and dance to the beats until you drip with sweat!
In the booth we have, once again, FREEK-I-NATT residents Olav Wiiburg and Dj Juri Gagarin, who are also joined by Stian Pedersen and Eirik Skantze.

Over the past year, Stian Pedersen has delivered several successful gigs all over the country, his gig at Sommerøya being the absolute highlight. With his love for deep and delightful electronica, we can’t wait to give him free rein at Kunsthall Trondheim.
Erik Skantze has, through solid releases under Oslo label Full Pupp, made a big name for himself as a producer, and he also has a reputation for putting on deep and delightful DJ sets. His debut song “Stargaze” was released on Prins Thomas’s label Full Pupp, garnering great cheers from the crowds. Since then, he has created many remixes, for among others Atella and Skatebård. In the past year, he has received many accolades for his release Nakenbad under British label Paper Recordings, and in the new year, Skantze will launch the EP Danserytme under Norwegian club label Maksimal. We can’t wait!

Visuals: Maneten
Together with Gaupen, Maneten found his inner animal. The result: the DJ/VJ duo Gaupe & Manet was born. Since this gem of a collab started in 2015, Maneten has been in charge of the visuals at every single Freek-I-Natt, where he always finds his way into the flow of sound and lighting. Jørgen J. Wassvik has a background as a musician and graphic designer and is currently studying both Music Technology at NTNU and at Trondheim Academy of Fine Art.
