NB: The kids workshop is fully booked! In case of cancellation, write office@kunsthalltrondheim.no for waiting list

Welcome to a kids’ workshop where we will think together about the way humans exist with the forest and the creatures in it and make masks to help us meet the forest and the real and imagined creatures in it in a different way.

Maybe there is a forest near your town that is in danger. What feelings we have about that forest are important to understand and we also have to think about the feelings of the plants and animals that live there. We can think about how we like to be talked to when we feel sad or scared and try to communicate with these creatures the same way.

Maybe we can even do some magic with our masks and turn into fantasy creatures with special abilities and communicate with the world of plants and animals, so that they feel safer and know we care.

How will you transform and meet the creatures of the forest?

The kids workshop is made and led by the artist Magda Stojowska and is for children between 6-10 years old. Children will be left at Kunsthall Trondheim with our trained pedagogues and collected at the end of the workshop.
