You’ve seen Hot Ones right? This isn’t that – but it’s close!
Join us at Sellenraa for Tongues of Fire – Hot Takes, a semi-serious chilli sauce tasting/Q&A about the exhibition of the same name hosted by Kunsthall Trondheim’s very own Joe Rowley, and hot sauce guru Marc-André Schopen from Gulating Ølutsalg Sirkus. Together they will help spice up your life and separate the hot from the not, all whilst trying to style out the pain of burned tongues.
Bring along a hot date, or a burnt-out buddy if you fancy, and test out a variety of different chili sauces. We'll be serving vegetarian sausages with the sauces, and there's a chance to buy refreshments at the bar.
Joe will be asking Marc-André the questions where the chilli is concerned and the other way round where the art is concerned. The audience is of course invited to taste along, but will not be expected to be articulate. The big question, who will handle the heat best?
