Earthseed Book Club 2026

Earthseed Book Club is a gathering space where we use literature as a medium for dialogue around power, identity, belonging, and the social realities shaping our lives. Emerging from last year’s Shape the Echo reading room and inspired by Octavia E Butler's Earthseed philosophy, the book club continues as a place where stories, ideas, and community meet.
In the 2026 series, we’ll begin with Imagination by Ruha Benjamin and then move into Emergent Strategy by adrienne marree brown.
Together we’ll read and reflect on how imagination, community, and care can help shape the futures we are living into. Expect meaningful conversation and a warm welcoming atmosphere.
Homemade soup and bread will be served.
Free and open to everyone, all are welcome.
