This year's Culture Night at Kunsthall Trondheim is a celebration of the educational project KunstØrn!
KunstØrn is a pilot project aimed at children and young people that will make art experiences accessible, by breaking with attitudes that create barriers to experiencing and seeking out art.

Norwegian Sign Language Interpreter will be present during the evening program.

The artist shares clips from her Amanda prize-winning short film "What is a woman?" (2020), including clips from new films. Håskjold will also talk about how comment sections online and women's history inspire and provoke.

Karin Keisu & Josse Thuresson

The artist duo shows excerpts from the film "Back to Back" (2022), telling the story of how the Tornedal Finnish language Meänkieli and Swedish sign language were banned throughout most of the 20th century in schools for the hearing impaired and the deaf in The Tornedal region. They also host a workshop entitled Language and Power.
