Making Lomper Together

Baking flatbread is a tradition that dates back thousands of years. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a meal that is nutritious and quickly brings people together.

In Norway, there are countless recipes for lefse (flatbreads), and on this day we will be making lomper, a simple potato-based favourite. Together we will learn to make two different types of lomper - from making the dough, to cooking, to amazing toppings.

Once we have cooked, it’s time to eat! We’ll gather round the table to enjoy our creations and share stories and memories inspired by lomper and the process of cooking communally. If you have a favourite recipe or a special story, we’d love to hear it.

This fun afternoon workshop is a great way to meet some people, learn a new skill and eat a tasty meal - What’s not to like!?
