Marjetica Potrč: The Sami, Along with Their Ashaninka Friends, Contemplate Coexistence with the Earth (2016), © kunstneren og Galerie Nordenhake, Berlin/Stockholm. Aimée Zito Lema: Stillbilde fra Rond de Jambe (2016).

Join us for a guided tour in our two current exhibitions: On Coexistence with Marjetica Potrč and A Series of Gestures and Aimée Zito Lema. Both shows are up until May 21.

The guided tour is included in the entrance ticket.

Marjetica Potrč (b. 1953 in Ljubljana, Slovenia) is a Berlin-based artist and architect. The exhibition On Coexistence builds on the research and projects Marjetica Potrč has carried out, in Acre and in many different parts of the world, but always with a focus on community, sustainability and building new knowledge on traditional grounds. As an artist and architect, she has often engaged in collaborations and participatory design projects.

Aimée Zito Lema (b. 1982 in Amsterdam, grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina) lives and works in Amsterdam. The exhibition A Series of Gestures consists of three works that relate to ways the body engages with politics. With these three works the exhibition points toward how the body relates to power structures within a bio-political frame work.
