Painting in water:
Paper marbling is a method of aqueous surface design, which can produce patterns similar to smooth marble or other kinds of stone. It is often employed as a writing surface for calligraphy, and especially book covers and endpapers in bookbinding. It is a tradition used in some countries of far East-and South Asia, Iran and Turkey. There are still artist who make traditional paper marbling in many countries.
