Grete Neseblod is the second artist presented in the series of three solo project exhibitions at Kunsthall Trondheim, on the occasion of this year’s Hannah Ryggen Triennale. The exhibition series shows artists connected to Trøndelag whose artistic practices engage with textiles in different ways.

In parallel to the series of solo project exhibitions, Kunsthall Trondheim presents the group show Unweaving the binary code – Hannah Ryggen Triennale. The series is supported by Posten Moderne. Grete Neseblod’s exhibition is supported by Arts Council Norway.

Grete Neseblod (b. 1980, Trondheim) lives at Nesodden and is educated at Oslo National Academy of Art. Neseblod has had several solo exhibitions, including Kunstplass Contemporary Art [Oslo] (2021 and 2016), Østfold kunstsenter (2020), SOFT Galleri (2017), Levanger Kunstforening (2017) and Onomatopee in Netherlands (2018).
Lotte Konow Lund (b. 1967, Oslo) is an artist educated at the Norwegian National Academy of Fine Arts in Oslo. Konow Lund has had solo exhibitions at Henie Onstad Kunstsenter, Kunsthall Trondheim, The Vigeland Museum, The Stenersen Museum and Lillehammer Art Museum. Her work has been acquired in the collections of museums such as The National Museum and Trondheim Art Museum. Konow Lund is the author of The Diaries January 2014 – February 2016 (2016) and Om kunst – 25 kunstnersamtaler (On Art – 25 artist conversations) (2021).
Linn Cecilie Ulvin (b. 1969, Drammen) is an author, artist and curator. Ulvin’s work is essentially interdisciplinary connected to fine art, literature and theatre. Ulvin is educated at the Oslo National Academy of Art, Skrivekunstakademiet in Hordaland, and The Desmond Jones School of Physical Theatre. Selected recent solo projects include Metanoia Night performance, commissioned for the public project Women on the Shelf/The Municipality of Bergen, exhibitions at Hå Gamle Prestegard, Kunstplass Contemporary Art [Oslo] and Tegnerforbundet, Oslo, Norway. Ulvin has written the novels Closer To Love (2005) and The Sky Behind Is Exhaustingly Blue (2000), both published by Tiden Norsk Forlag, Norway.
Linn Halvorsrød (b. 1980, Sarpsborg) is a sound and visual artist educated from Oslo National Academy of Art, in addition to having attained a Master of Fine Art from Trondheim Academy of Fine Art and a master’s degree in sound art. After completing her studies, Halvorsrød has continuously educated in, and disseminated art, in parallel to carrying out performances and exhibiting her artistic work. Halvorsrød has been acquired in the collections of The National Museum and Trondheim municipality. She is also an author and has been the editor of the book Påskeaften 1996 (Easter Eve 1996) (2021).
