Welcome to our critic’s conversation at Kunsthall Trondheim in collaboration with ArtScene Trondheim! This event is part of Trondheim Open.
According to art sociologist Dag Solhjell, the critic was the very first audience and the starting point for a public art realm. During Trondheim Open, ArtScene Trondheim invites the public to two conversations with critics. One will be held at Kunsthall Trondheim and one at RAKE visningsrom, and the spaces’ respective exhibitions will be discussed from both an academic and a subjective point of view.
The conversation at Kunsthall Trondheim will be a discussion on the exhibition, Rivers of Emotion, Bodies of Ore, led by Eline Bjerkan, Øyvind R. Kvarme and program curator at Kunsthall Trondheim, Carl Martin Faurby.
