Welcome to a unique concert experience with Trondheim Sinfonietta at Kunsthall Trondheim, Thursday October 5!
With the concert series Absurd they wish to explore the range for what a classical musician can do or not do on stage. What if you remove the instruments? What if you think of the musical performance as choreography? Inspired by Fluxus, Mauricio Kagel and others, the concert series Absurd presents new works by musicians that incorporate the body and the voice of the instrumentalists. Composer Jennifer Walshe once called this ‘genre’ of modern music as ‘The New Discipline’, while others has used the label «The Undiciplined».
