Join s new series of workshops with OI!
The second workshop in this series takes place at Kunsthall Trondheim on Monday 3 April at 7 pm < 3
A project by OI! Trondheim about developing a (stronger) awareness of self and surroundings in terms of marginalization and intersectionality. Through art workshops and conversation, we will develop and discover how by being made to feel differently shapes who we are and how we can carry this feeling around with us in our life in situations where difference is not necessarily a factor.
We invite young people between the ages of 15-25 to make art, learn from each other's life experiences and strengthen self-awareness. Welcome.
The workshops will start every second Monday with the first one on 6 March 2023.
Please sign up by sending an e-mail to oi@kunsthalltrondheim.no with your full name.
The workshops will be based on learning and practicing different forms of art conducted by an artist. For example Tuanshan Painting with Sidney Kong in the first workshop.

ABOUT OI!
Oi! is a project for young people of colour who are interesting in telling their own story. Oi! was initiated by the artist Emma Wolukau-Wanambwa for the Bergen Assembly exhibition in 2019. Now, Oi! is coming to Trondheim. Read more about the project and how to participate below.
Oi! brings together people between the ages of 19 and 25 who have experienced racism. The project provides them with a platform to meet and discuss issues that are important to them on their own terms. Out of these discussions, the group develops public projects that address issues of social and environmental justice.
