Land acknowledgement

Kunsthall Trondheim is located on Indigenous land in Åarjelsaepmie or southern Saepmie / Sápmi / Sábme. Sámi people have lived on this land since time immemorial. We pay respect to the knowledge and care of traditional custodians of land, water, and air, of humans and nonhumans, and to the custodians’ manifold spiritual principles. We also pay respect to the land, water, and air that sustain humans and nonhumans and all their relations. Kunsthall Trondheim supports the continued decolonizationof physical and spiritual spaces for greater social and environmental justice.
