Kunsthall Trondheim welcomes you to a slightly different experience in Korakrit Arunanondchai's exhibition Songs for dying in collaboration with Zenit Yoga, Trondheim.

The evening begins with a screening of Korakrit Arunanondchai's new video work Songs for dying (duration 30:18), which has its world premiere in the exhibition, followed by seated meditation of approx. 30 min with Siri Nordhus who teaches yoga and mindfulness at Zenit Yoga. Nordhus has extensive experience in both yoga and meditation.

Mindfulness is a way of being present in the moment, and this practice is consistent throughout the event, both during the film screening and during the sitting meditation. Mindfulness is constantly an exercise in being your own observer without any kind of evaluation or judgment. By bringing out your inherent kindness and practicing watching what is happening in the moment and from moment to moment, such a non-judgmental practice over time will provide greater clarity. It will also provide greater clarity in the aspect of life and death, and the recognition that life and death exist in every moment in every in-breath and every out-breath.
