During the exhibition Who Wants to Live Forever?, on view 17 September–15 November, Kunsthall Trondheim invites you to a different mediation experience through an investigative and reflective walk in two different landscapes in Trondheim's local environment. Each walk will be guided by a researcher together with a mediator from Kunsthall Trondheim. Through informative and exploratory access to the surrounding areas, we will immerse ourselves in both concrete material and abstract themes of time and immortality from the exhibition.

Nature walk #1: The bog and time Vintervassmyra with Peggy Zinke
21 September, 5pm–6pm
1 November, 1pm–2.30pm
Meet up at Skistua's parking lot

On this first nature walk we will visit Vintervassmyra in Trondheims Bymarka. The trip offers an introduction to bog knowledge, peat types and the influences of Vintervassmyra over time. We will also use our senses and have some conversations about how we experience this bog surface that sits high above the city.

Supported by Fritt Ord and Kulturrådet.

Peggy Zinke (Ph.D.) has a background as a watercourse engineer and more than 20 years of experience as a consultant, hydrologist and researcher in both Germany and Norway, with a special interest in bogs, wetlands and rivers.
