Thursday 25 April at 4 pm Kunsthall Trondheim and students from Trondheim’s Academy of Fine Art invites you to take part in the symposium event Campfire. The works of five artists shape the event, the format of which has encouraged those involved to think about how to present artistic research in a public context.
The program includes various presentations, a participatory shrine building workshop, performance, and a modern ‘Whodunit’ game hosted at Tyven!
The project reflects the studies and practices of the students in the artistic research course led by Professor Nabil Ahmed and Annett Busch.
The artists draw threads from their practices, reframing their existing interests through the context of the current exhibition at Kunsthall Trondheim Tongues of Fire.
With various mediums, the artists explore these themes and respond to their environment, with projects calling for reaction and sensitivity.
Come join us for this fiery event at the Kunsthall!
The symposium is free and open to all.
