Tuan-shan Flower Painting with Chinese Painting Techniques aims to introduce participants to the unique style of Tuan-shan flower painting using Chinese Ink Painting techniques. The workshops will emphasize the technical skills of painting while also exploring the cultural significance and philosophical values behind this ancient art form. Students will develop visual thinking skills by considering the meaning and symbolism of different types of flowers in various cultures. The workshops will specifically focus on the free-hand style Chinese painting technique and botanical themes, encouraging participants to explore their creativity and broaden their perspectives.
A project by OI! Trondheim about developing a (stronger) awareness of self and surroundings in terms of marginalization and intersectionality. Through art workshops and conversation, we will develop and discover how by being made to feel differently shapes who we are and how we can carry this feeling around with us in our life in situations where difference is not necessarily a factor.
We invite young people between the ages of 15-25 to make art, learn from each other's life experiences and strengthen self-awareness. Welcome.

The workshops will be based on learning and practicing different forms of art conducted by an artist. For example Tuanshan Painting with Sidney Kong in the first workshop.

OM OI!
Oi! er et prosjekt for unge med minoritetsbakgrunn som er interessert i å fortelle sine historier. Oi! ble til på initiativ fra kunstner Emma Wolukau-Wanambwa i forbindelse med Bergen Assembly-utstillingen i 2019. Nå kommer Oi! til Trondheim. Les mer om prosjektet og finn ut hvordan du kan delta under.
Oi! er et samlingssted for unge i alderen 19-25 som har opplevd rasisme. Prosjektet gir dem en plattform der de kan møtes og diskutere tema som er viktig for dem på sine egne premisser. Basert på disse diskusjonene utvikler gruppen offentlige prosjekter som tar for seg sosiale og miljømessige problemstillinger.
